Allrush Print and Apparel is looking for an experienced Print & Promotional Products CSR / Estimator to join our team.
This is not an entry-level customer service position. We are looking for someone with previous experience in the commercial printing, promotional products and/or decorated apparel industry who understands how to take a customer request, determine the appropriate production method, accurately estimate the project and manage the order through production.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Work directly with customers and sales representatives to determine project requirements.
Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for commercial printing projects.
Create and manage print estimates using Avanti.
Quote digital, offset and wide-format printing based on appropriate production methods.
Source and quote promotional products from industry suppliers.
Calculate product costs, decoration charges, setup charges, freight and other costs associated with promotional products.
Quote decorated apparel including screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer/DTF and other decoration methods.
Source apparel and promotional products based on customer requirements, budget and timelines.
Review job specifications including quantities, sizes, substrates, colours, finishing and delivery requirements.
Enter and maintain accurate customer and job information.
Coordinate with production, purchasing, sales and outside vendors.
Communicate proofs, pricing, production requirements and timelines clearly with customers.
Monitor active orders and help ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule.
Identify potential production or costing issues before jobs are released.
Provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial printing, promotional products, decorated apparel or a closely related industry.
Strong understanding of commercial print estimating and production.
Knowledge of digital and offset printing processes.
Understanding of paper stocks, substrates, finishing and bindery processes.
Experience quoting promotional products and working with industry suppliers.
Knowledge of apparel decoration including screen printing and embroidery.
Strong mathematical and estimating skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple quotes and active jobs in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn industry-specific software.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience using Avanti Print MIS or another print estimating/MIS platform.
Experience using SAGE or similar promotional-product sourcing software.
Experience working with apparel suppliers and promotional-product distributors.
Knowledge of wide-format printing and signage.
Experience working in a full-service commercial print environment.
